Boss Archetypes

Our stable of Bosses. Multiple encounters may use the same Boss Archetype, but offer variation such as alternate gambits, addition of minions, or environmental damage components.

The Brute

The Brute is a slow, heavily armored, or physically towering enemy that relies on raw damage output.

Using the baseline calculations on the Boss Stats page, establish a boss that is appropriately tuned to the desired party level, e.g. a level 60 party would have a level 63 boss (+3 level advantage) with 109,674 hitpoints and 2,604 weapon DPS with a 2.0s auto-attack interval. The stat profile should include all of the offensive and defensive suppression stats determined by level friction, as well as a complete single roll attack table with established ranges.

Yellow Damage Abilities

Heavy Strike is an instant cast swing, dealing 1.5× of a standard white damage swing every 1.5 seconds (GCD). Combined with the standard 1.0× auto-attack every 2.0 seconds, the Brute lives up to its reputation by pummeling the tank with relentless physical pressure.
